Why?

Is it that money can change relationships in a family? I have learned a valuable lesson in the past four years, make sure that you have your wishes made very clear and iron clad so that there are no fights!! Even the strongest relationships seem to crumble when it comes to money. It makes me sad but a smarter person to experience a situation like this more than once. My advice to you Make your wishes really clear ... my kids are hearing it loud and clear from me and it will be legal too!!

Milestones.....

I watched Logan step into his dads shoes and walk around! I was just soooooo happy!! This may mean no big deal to some of you, but to me it is such a milestone for him! He is pretending in his autistic world, or imitating or doing some other wonderful thing. It is the best thing I could see my son do right now!! Days like this are such a positive for me. It means he is really taking in all he is learning. The small connections he is making are developing in his little brain.

Happy Birthday!!

So today is my hubbys birthday, I won't tell you how old he is..just that he flew back home by himself from the funeral trip. The baby and I stayed behind to help take care of some things. He is so blessed to have a great set of parents who just take care of things. He still had a cake and some presents when he got home from his plane ride. So Happy Birthday to my husband and I love ya lots!! Thanks for all your support and love!

Tribute to Grandma

So today I got a call from my dad, my grandma passed away at 1:00 am sunday morning. She was 91. Lived a good life and I know she is with my grandpa now, whom she has missed since he died 13 years ago. I miss her already and had a good cry. I will be leaving to go and be with my family and help out with the funeral and such. It is a tough day. Grandma was the glue to our family, my dad cried on the phone when he told me, I think that is the first time I have heard him cry in all my life. Grandma I love you and tell Grandpa I love and miss him too!! I look forward to being with you both someday......

No News...

Well the latest news on the house is looks like we got beat to the punch..It was a really good deal and it looks like someone else got it first. We found out two days after we put an offer in, someone had got to it first. So that put us second. So we are back looking for another deal... Just keep trying, thats all.....

Holiday travel

Are we crazy with these gas prices? We will find out. We won't be going real far, so it won't hurt quite as much. But with the prices of everything going up it sure makes you think. I am comming up with creative ways to save a dollar. We shop at a supermarket that gives you a break on gas and that really helps! I am learning to use other food items, and make more homemade items. We eat turkey and chicken meat now...lots of other short cuts. Anyway to save money I am for it. We are quite blessed, we have an abundance of cereal, and do pretty well otherwise. Flippin houses

Ok, so my husband has wanted to flip houses for awhile now. Well we found one and put an offer in on it. So we find out in a few days if we got it. We are excited and scared at the same time. But this house just came to us and we could not pass it up. It was a sweet deal and someone has about 50% or more of the house done. They started and did not get to finish. So it is now our project if all goes well. I will post pictures later. We hope this is the start of a new business for us.
